Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about giving, tax deduction status, and how funds are directed into the lives of our Waller County participants.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Seed 2 Harvest Community Outreach is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in good standing under the Internal Revenue Code. Upon completing your donation through our Zeffy portal, you will immediately receive an official email tax receipt with our EIN for your annual filings.
How does recurring monthly giving work?
Monthly gifts give our mentors predictable cash flow to commit to rent bridge funds months in advance. Your chosen amount is charged automatically on the same day each month. You can pause, modify, or cancel your monthly recurring gift at any time through the link in your receipt or by emailing us directly.
Can I visit or see where the funds are applied?
We welcome our supporters, local business allies, and church pastors to Prairie View. You are welcome to visit our outreach office at 110 Bledsoe Street, join a fellowship dinner, or meet the community leaders walking alongside our scholars and apprentices.
Do participants have to be Christian to receive assistance?
No. Our Christ-centered identity compels us to love, mentor, and serve every single neighbor unconditionally, regardless of faith, background, or creed. Help is given with zero strings attached and zero religious preconditions.

A covenant of accompaniment

“From an acorn to an oak.”

Roots do not deepen in a single weekend conference. They take steady watering, shelter during drought, and fertile ground that will not give way.

When you co-labor with Seed 2 Harvest, you are planting directly into Prairie View soil. You are whispering to an emerging young adult: “We see who you are becoming, and we are not walking away.”
